Configuration Wizard Incorrect LED Orientation

Brewing4714 opened this issue · comments

When attempting to run the configuration wizard to setup my strips, it does not put them in numerical order. I currently have one strip at the bottom and one at the top with a total of 296 LEDs, but instead of starting at one end with LED 1 it starts with 223 and counts to the middle then resets back to 1. This results in images from the opposite side of the screen affecting completely different segments of the LED strip. I could manually reposition the squares but they are very narrow and it would take a long time, plus I use this display with another system running Prismatik as well so I would need to perform the same manual configuration all over again. This happens on both Arch Linux and Windows 10. If there is another method to get the order of the LEDs to populate correctly I would be very grateful

This is correct for Prismatic configuration
When you build a ambilight setup it's supposed to begin at the center of the bottom row, go around the monitor and end back at the bottom center
It's like that because then it accounts for the monitor stand
The lights would begin to the right of the stand, travel around the monitor and terminate at the other end of the stand, that's why the setup is configured this way

As far as changing the configuration since you have so many led grabbers I think doing it in the text editor would be much less tedious than trying to move them by hand
