Bug Report

Description

At first, the system tray icons can be seen in the wayber, but after hiding the wayber with Crtl + Esc, if you unhide it, the icons of the apps that were in the system tray are not shown. but, when I reboot or logout and login, the system tray icons showing.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Hide wayber with Ctrl + Esc.
  2. Again unhide wayber with Ctrl + Esc.

So yes a common issue for waybar. https://github.com/Alexays/Waybar sadly the HyDE repo do not have a way to fix it obviously. you can open the nth issue upstream. (My waybar always crashes too)

try to install the stable waybar by yay -Sy waybar .

also checkout if blueman-applet this command which spawns a bluetooth tray icon shows during the event of the trays not showing. Some reported that the blueman (bluetooth manager) cuases this, but this is an old issue.

I will close this as this is hopeless on this repo's side for now.
