How did you install the dots, using ./install.sh ?

I recently push a utility to find mismatched dot files

command is Hyde check Config

It should work something like this

The CLI comes preinstalled together with the dots, but by default the clone directory is ~/.cache/hyde/Hyde-Clone
In case you install it using ./install.sh Hyde-cli do not know the Cloned directory's path.
you can run Hyde-install --link --dir ~/HyDE where ~HyDE is the path to the clone directory.

i have used it in garuda kde it work fine in that except some other issue(like keyring issue) currently i am using garuda hyprland which comes with pre-build waybar config but i think installing that script will overwrite the config

Please diff these 2 files. I assumed you got some minor spacing error here or something

Please add spaces

And some waybar related utils.

Hyde waybar control runs a daemon that watches for the config.ctl file changes. Then it automatically updates it for you. Other commands are self-explanatory.

LOL the garuda waybar is overriding everything!

You can actually see the correct Hyde waybar theme if you run it with flags
waybar --config ~/.config/waybar/config.jsonc --style ~/.config/waybar/style.css

So this one will give as the default user executions

If you understand the situation, we might need to add patches for Hyde to override Garuda's waybar or modify their waybar spin .

Or HyDE will adjust and handle it in user level. This seemed a neat solution.
Edit the ~/.local/share/bin/wbarconfgen.sh then change the waybar line to this

waybar --config ~/.config/waybar/config.jsonc --style ~/.config/waybar/style.css

This is what I was afraid when I tried hyprdots, config overide by my existing system.I was gonna do a fresh endeavour hyperland install but thought I would encounter something like this so Instead used Kde version.

I tried the minimal EOS in VM to test my Commits but no issues on configs.IMO it's better than Garadu.😁 But garuda is pretty fast I guess when using the foot terminal also everything is set up and ready. That's how shallow I experience both though.

I think there is a community spin available. I used to use plain arch but since I own multiple devices , setting each was a pain and endeavor was closest to vanilla arch . I could get arch running under 5 mins. I tried garuda but was distracted with the vibrant color schemes :D
