Switching entities unreliable / Input selects virtually unusable

Since a couple of HA versions more and more quirks seem to appear when using the search card. A long while ago it started with switching entities from the result list becoming unreliable, i.e. the switches only responded on the second or third try they were clicked or tapped. And in the last months I noticed another strange behavior with input selects becoming virtually unusable in the search results, although I don't know if this problem really started later or if I only noticed it at a later time:

This seems to be browser independent. I tested this with Chrome/Edge and Firefox on Windows & Chrome/Kiwi on Android.
