Issue/Bug Description:
On my ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10, the screen stays black after suspending. The power LED stops blinking which suggests that the system is no longer suspended, but the screen does not come on.
Steps to reproduce (if you know):
Click Power Off / Log Out -> Suspend
. Then close and open the laptop, or press the power button to wake up.
Expected behavior:
Screen should come on after opening the laptop or pressing the power button.
Other Notes:
The issue is not there when using linux-image-6.6.10-76060610-generic
.
I have exactly the same issue on my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 7.
Same distribution output and linux-image-6.8.0 as @tomdjong.
this seems to be related to #3253 - obviously, this kernel causes serious issues :(
