Right now it involves manually finding a certain kind of URL for a site that you may or may not know. A few ways this process could be made easier:

  • Allow for a series by name, across one site or many sites
  • Add inline examples for every site to help explain which URL to look for

Research

  • The AniList API has an idMal field for linking to an entry on MyAnimeList. Could be helpful for providing links to various services.
  • Jikan is an unofficial API for MAL, which could help search for series details.

Fyi, MALSync has a pretty good anime/manga linking function.

You can go on an AniList or MAL page and it should give you MangaDex and MangaRock hits, so that could be cool, I could hook you up with the creator because he has his own auto creating DB.
