Syncing of domains with DNS in the disabled state

Is there a way to stop the Mass Management - Sync All Zones from syncing zones that have their DNS disabled? I believe it already doesn't sync zones that are in slave state, but I believe zones that were masters and then disabled got synced.
I haven't had a chance to look at the code yet or do more testing, was curious if this was a known issue.
Must have been a mistake on my part, seems to work fine.
