Instal Kernel extension

Started app and selected both "start recording" and "20s backbuffer" in the drop down from the top bar. App disapeared, crashed I assume. Upon restarting and initializing the app again there's a message saying "Lernel Extenion not Installed".

My OS to old?

Hey @CarpentersKeys! You gotta provide more info than that, dude.

I have the same issue.

I'm using Os X 10.7.5 on a Intel i7 MacBook Pro with 8gb Ram.

I installed it and when I did I go the message from issue #33 "The system extension " ... "/WavTap.kext was installed improperly..."

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3772191/Screen%20Shot%202012-11-19%20at%202.56.10%20PM.png

Then my computer shut off suddenly with a kernel panic and I had to start it back up again.

here's a log of the report:

After restart, I tried to use the program.

I recorded some audio and it played back fine through airfoil. However, later, trying to record audio and play it back via the normal means (through headphones) it came up empty. If I go to my audio preferences and manually select WavTap as my device when recording, I can record audio (but not hear it).

So I restarted my computer again.

Now it says "Kernel Extension Not Installed"

@lpender: thanks for posting the panic log! That looks like it's being caused by com.apple.NVDAResman, which seems to be not an uncommon problem.
