extrude 3d photoshop like [feature request]

This will be crazy if we can natively use a kind of extrude for sprite3d.
I suggest maybe to use the scale3d.z which seems useless to their current one, to add extrude dimension ?

Any chance to see this kind of stuff or a example playground to make this with gl maybe ?

Actually, very good idea, but it requires geometry changes and we dont have it yet. I'll think about it

these solution is not viable in games for several obvious reasons but we can get the feeling behavior.
