Middle click and CTRL+click should open in new tab, not same tab

currently, it seems cmd/ctrl-click, or middle-click, does not open a new tab. right-clicking and selecting "open link in new tab" will do the same. (personal note: this is infuriating to me, which is certainly a "me" problem :) , yet i think this is not behavior we've come to expect)

steps to reproduce

• cmd/ctrl/middle-click on a profile name in the timeline

expected result:

The profile opens in a new tab

actual result:

profile will open in the same window.

tested in

• firefox (mac)
• safari (mac)
