Warning about accessibility: very poor contrast on several elements of the logged in UI

I'm not a regular contributor but user and I wanted to point out that several elements in the "logged in" User Interface are not contrasted enough. Contrast is an important part of accessibility.
Very light grey on white or similarly low contrasted texts or elements can be difficult to see for some people. It can even be a problem for people with good eyesight but using older devices with not so bright screens or in sunlight.

Some small elements (using --text-lighter var) have a color contrast of 2.56 with background where it would be good at 4.5 contrast at least.
