doctorkafka doesn't auto-restart

My configuration has
doctorkafka.restart.interval.seconds=86400
However, my DoctorKafka servers have status lines like this:
Version: 0.2.4.3, Uptime: 437164.017 seconds
The kafkastats processes are certainly restarting as they are supposed to, but doctorkafka seems to ignore this setting.
