Yank urls of all open tabs

CRTejaswi opened this issue · comments

[FEATURE REQUEST]

A common occurence when browsing is opening up a bunch of tabs on a dedicated topic. This becomes a nuisance when one searches for N sub-topics - as the tab sequence gets cluttered.

While one can save sub-topical tabs as a bookmark-group (for later or side-by-side usage), it adds significantly to the list of saved bookmarks, causing a hinderance to quickly opening/searching through bookmarks

A shortcut to yank the urls of all open tabs can be handy - as one can either open them all using firefox/chrome from the commandline (without adding them to one's bookmarks). This is also useful for archival/documentation purposes - where one can reference the list of browsed sources with considerable ease.

An additional shortcut to paste all the urls (either just after yanking from the browser window OR after copying from a file) would be an added bonus.

If there's such a feature already available that I'm unaware of, please do let me know.

For Firefox there are several extensions for that purpose. I like Export Tab URLs.
