no option to select via ir control

Hi,
I have a minix u9h media player and have installed your awesome addon but i can only select the suggestions via an air mouse. I am able to put focus on the suggestions but cannot make the final selection to use the suggestion with an ir remote. How do i go about modding your code to manage this? The code within the u9h that works for all the other selections i have used, use the following code within the remote.conf file : 0x3b 28 #ENTER.

I should also mention, I am using kodi v17.6 with its estuary skin. I have done a little bit of skin modding and have had a look at the DialogKeyboard.xml where i can locate a content call to $VAR[AutoCompletionContentVar]. But i don't see onclick options in that section, so I am a bit lost.
I thought the air mouse used an RF interface? Are you sure the U9H has an IR receiver? If all else fails you can try FLIRC -- it can remap keys from any IR remote to any Kodi function, and the new key map is stored on the dongle with no Kodi modifications. https://flirc.tv/more/flirc-usb

Yeah the u9 definitely has a ir receiver and yes the air mouse is rf. I hate air mice (.?). The rf is good but the pointer system and the fact you need to use it at all sucks imho. I use my well laid out universal ir remote with discreet buttons for actions instead of long press this and that.
