Hiding items in Editor and File Menus

Describe the feature
It's awesome that we can hide stuff in the Ribbon and status bar, and it'd be just as well if we could hide items in the Editor and File Menus.
Does this fix a problem? If so, specify.
Having way too many options in these menus from plugins.
