Chart time doesn't reflect logged hours vs days correctly
spragucm opened this issue · comments
The logged hours timeline shows how many hours were entered on any given day, instead of showing the logged hours that are attached to a certain day. For example, if on Friday I enter 10 hours for Monday and Tuesday, and Friday then all of the hours are applied to Friday (i.e. that I worked 0 hours Mon and Tues and worked 30 on Friday).
While I understand the usefulness of knowing when people are logging hours vs working them, could there be an option that allows users to view hours as applied to the selected date vs the entry date?
May be I've missed something, but when You are logging time You can set
date. For example, on Friday I can log hours for past Monday.
By default, if you dont specify date today date will be used.
Has it helped You?

I completely agree with your statement. Problem is, when I look at the hours worked timeline, it shows the date I entered the data not the date the I applied the hours to.
For example, yesterday I entered hours for M,T and Friday. Each of these entries shows correctly from my time log in project view.
However, the hours worked timeline chart shows all of those hours being applied to yesterday, not the respective days. (see the two pictures below)
Can you provide me list of installed redmine modules and your configuration?
