pGina, LDAP, and Microsoft Security Advisory ADV190023

Will the updates described in Microsoft Security Advisory ADV190023, linked here affect pGina in anyway? Since the update will only be affecting active directory, is it safe to assume that pGina will not be affected by it?

with the microsoft update SSL must be activated or you have to set the server group pol to deactivate the security update , otherwise pgina is not able to bind to AD anymore. in some customer projects we have to changed over to comtarsia which offers an NTLM authentication support.
