replacing `youtube-dl` with `yt-dlp`

System Details:

  • Operating System: Linux Based

  • Distro(For GNU/Linux and BSD users): Arch Linux

  • Desktop Environment(For GNU/Linux and BSD users): KDE plasma

  • Persepolis Version: 3.2.0-8

  • How do you install Persepolis? Arch Linux Repository

  • youtbe-dl version: 2021.12.17

  • Error message

ERROR: Unable to extract uploader id; please report this issue on https://yt-dl.org/bug . Make sure you are using the latest version; see https://yt-dl.org/update on how to update. Be sure to call youtube-dl with the --verbose flag and include its complete output.

Issue Description and steps to reproduce:

  • Copy a YouTube link
  • Try to capture it
  • It fails with the above error message.

Extra information

This is the issue of youtube-dl, I guess.

If I try to download videos from youtube-dl manually from terminal, same issue occurs reference | bug report on their repository. And it seems yt-dlp working perfectly in this case. Is there any possibility to replace youtube-dl with yt-dlp?
