This is a subpart split out of #1684. Currently there isn't a great way to create a new blank workspace in the IDE; we should create one in the top-left corner which makes a new workspace with empty Domain, Style, and Substance files.

If the user tries to do this while there are unsaved changes, it should make the same warning message that already happens when trying to switch to a different registry example.
