Being able to cargo install cachepot and get whatever version your team thinks is currently best, would be very nice. Yes, I know cargo accepts git references.
I'd recommend to switch back to sccache, we're (@Xanewok and I) are slowly upstreaming the changes now that there is a working collaboration
