Possible issue with Harmony

Hey there. So I have decided to play some Rimworld again after around 4 months hiatus and wanted to play with mods. The problem is that even if I only load Harmony it instantly throws an error in Debug.

Error while instantiating a mod of type HarmonyMod.HarmonyMain: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.ExecutionEngineException: String conversion error: Illegal byte sequence encounted in the input.

I have no idea how to code or even mod so this is all a spanish village kind of stuff for me.

What version of Rimworld do you have? Is it from steam or the standalone version? Which version of Harmony mod are you using? Is it only Core + Harmony?

Updated Rimworld and latest Harmony with only Core + Harmony. But I managed to resolve it. It was a problem with the game itself. After 6 reinstalls it started working for some reason and I have no clue how.
