Can't get certain Ascii keys in the layout file

Hello, thanks for this great program!

I am having a small problem when I try and get the controller to send ">" or "<" keys, but when I set it to register it only accepts "." or "right shift" keys.

I went into the layout file and tried to change it to what I thought the keycode combination would be but it's not accepting it. I can't seem to make qjoypad understand that I just want to send greater than signs so that I can speedup my youtube videos without having to grab mouse or keyboard.

I even tried running a python script and sending keys through it just to make sure it wasn't my keyboard, but still won't accept > or <.
Thanks!
