How does ovis_log configuration work in 4.3.X?

It is not clear to me how to configure ovis_log logging levels in 4.3.X. store_avro_kafka appears to use ovis_log, but I'm not sure how to get it to actually log anything.
Nevermind, maybe it is just because there is nothing but LOG_ERROR in normal operation that I'm not seeing anything. :)
