There is a file called LICENSE.

@hueniverse package.json license field should be BSD-3-Clause

The point is that automatic tools could know what license is applied. It would be extremely helpful, if you could include the license field in the package.json
For example, I use a library that has this one as dependency. If the license field would be filled, I could easily run 'yarn licenses ls' and see that the license is one that complies with my project
