Apple Watch unlocks screen whenever a notification pops up

If you have Apple Watch unlock and you have macOS set to show notifications, when your computer wakes up to show a notification and you are nearby, the Apple Watch unlocks it. On regular Macs, this doesn't happen because the SMC that triggered the wakeup will tell XNU not to do that. However, since we don't have a real SMC, I'm not sure if it's possible to fix this.
