I forked osm-meta-util to grab hourly replication files:
How can we bring this back into main osm-meta-util in a flexible way
This changes osm-meta-util's core functionality, and adds replication data parsing. osm-meta-util was pretty simple in 'tracking metadata changes' live.
To extend, we would need to talk about the different use cases for metadata & data replication parsing & possibly rename osm-meta-util.
