Can't sign into Google Account, unsupported browser

Signing up on services like YouTube will fail with the following message:
The way I got around this is by using Ctrl + Shift + I -> Toggle device toolbar -> Select 'iPhone X' and retry.
Selecting a device from this list also changes the navigator.userAgent, although creating a custom device with a user agent of a supported browser did not work.
I have the same issue and as I understand it should be fixed with v.3.0 coming soon.
