I would a download only options specially for batch operations and orthophoto sourcing.
I've come by a very intuitive way of touching up and fixing source imagery, that is, download the same set from several different sources, and then, using one as a base, you can use others to fill in troublesome areas. So for example if you get clouds or shadows over a specific area, you can fill that missing part with another source if available, or even from another zoomlevel. This is also interesting for those cases there is an obvious different in pass quality or shading color, one very good use I had for it was over mountains at south Patagonia, where because of seasonal differences some passes where completely barren while others where filled with snow.
Currently you can already do this, but with a considerable processing/writing overhead, from writing the dsf tiles, writing the texture files and etc. A command specifically for that purpose would be very nice, specially considering how we can't preview and thus never know what will be the actual result with different zoomlevels and providers. Also a designated command for pre-downloading of batch areas, including osm/elevation data, since this is one of the parts that takes the most time.
For ortho download, there is an existing batch download feature, it is not accessible from the GUI can be found in the O4_Imagery_Utils.py
