This PR will add ml inference ingest processor to ml-commons plugin.
To Improve the ease of using machine learning models to process ingest document, we are introducing a Machine Learning Inference Ingest Processor to OpenSearch-ml-common to uses a machine learning model to read from the data and add the prediction outcome to the data that is being ingested through the ingest pipeline.
What other resources are available? Provide links to related issues, POCs, steps for testing, etc.
Team is busy with 2.14 testing and PRs. I think we do need more time, maybe 1/2 days after code freeze (4/30). @mingshl Can you estimate the effort and ECD for draft doc PR?
I am focusing on testing different models and services. Need to reserve some buffer time in case we find out bugs, we need to fix them for 2.14. Let's aiming for draft PR on May 3rd, 2024
Created the draft PR #7095 . Will try to add in more examples for tutorials pages next week.
