Provide sensor data to sensor.community without NodeMCU ESP8266

Dear all, where can I find documentation on this topic and a specification of the API?
I have SDS011 sensors connected to an Raspberry Pi V1 via USB. Readout is done in Python. There is no NodeMCU and no wireless connectivity involved.
Most convenient would be using Python to upload the data, as well.
