Resolution independent text rendering

Is it possible to implement one of the following text rendering methods?

It's definitely something I want to have in the library, whether through bezier curves or signed distance fields (see #20).
Unfortunately I don't have time to implement this at moment.
However if you (or someone else) wants to work on it then I'm happy to answer any questions related to QuickFont that you have!
