Shortcut letter should be auto-generate

Hi,
I think the shortcut letter could be auto-generate, it's easy for quick selection.
does it make sense?
That is a good idea.
I have a plan to generate a letter automatically, and at the same time I add a new preference which sets priority of the letters.
Hey I was wondering about the status of this feature, because you seemed to like the idea and this thread is already a few years old.
I don't have enough time to develop the feature now, but I would like to add it even now.
