Can't turn tv on using key commands

Describe the bug
I cannot turn the tv on using key commands however I can using media player.
Expected behavior
Turn the tv on using KEY_POWERON and toggle on using KEY_POWER
It would also be nice if KEY_AMBIENT turned the TV on like it does in tizen integration
Environment details:
- HASSOS Home Assistant Core)
- Home Assistant version installed: 2023.12
- Component version installed: 0.13.1
- Last know working version: Never
- TV model: Samsung QLED 2023
Additional context
TV is using WiFi and Smarthings integration to send turn on commands
