Automatic Project EC deadline extension

It'd be nice if granting an extension on a project would allow for the one day early EC deadline to be extended similarly.
Perhaps this is possible by making the extension to be based on how many days are left until extension deadline. (ie if there are x days left till extension ends make it as if it were submitted x days before actual deadline)
