For those who went from Koala to Prepros or something else

The last few days Koala has been reeeeally acting up and is constantly hanging then dying showing errors and all sorts of stuff. I believe it has to do with the file watcher as I can manually compile all my files in Koala with no problem at all - it is only when automatic compiling is on and seems to be for certain files - not sure why.

I just downloaded Prepros. The first problem is there is little to no customization when it comes to mapping files/folders to specific output destinations. From what I can tell looking at its config file I have to map every single file I want to rather than just mapping an entire folder like I did with Koala. There is also no documentation at all regarding the config file that I could find anywhere. Changing the output destination file by file for a huge project is ridiculous. At the same time I have no interest in changing my entire project to accommodate a 1-1 location/output destination for everything either.

Am I missing something with Prepros or is there documentation somewhere about the config file that lets me do folder mappings, wildcards, exclusions, etc? I am not going to change the destination on every file or every time I create a new file - that is ridiculous.

Is there something else out there that wasn't a drastic switch from Koala? I noticed CodeKit seems similar, but is only for Mac.

I have been trying out this

Early days, but it seems to work in a similar way to Koala.

@richard-keasley I remember looking at this a long time ago and just checked their site again. It is only for sass and scss. Not being able to do js files is a deal breaker for me. Also looks like there is only a single input/output folder setting whereas in Koala you can specify multiple in a settings file. Koala's functionality is/was soo damn good... wish someone would just come up with something similar in functionality.
