Edge browser errors

User report:
On the home page, the phrase Loading Kibana and the spinning green line around the logo never finishes. I first loaded the website one hour ago. I also get the text and the search box replicated on the webpage every few minutes. The second and higher copies contain the text /error/url-overflow in the search box. I experience this in Edge browser but it's fine with Opera. Perhaps there should be a browser check when the user first visits the website to alert them if they are using an unsupported internet browser and inform the about which browsers are supported.
@bwalsh thoughts on how we might implement?
