unable to uninstall in MIUI 9 Android version 9

After downloading and trying to install island app I got an error and it said to try again with root access. I did and it still was unsuccessful. But it created a new "dual app" island which is not opening and showing blank screen.
Now I tried to uninstall main app which was successful but this dual app is not uninstalling. Normally when you uninstall the main app the dual app automatically uninstalls but not in this case. When trying to manually uninstall the dual app it automatically reappears.

Is there a way to manually delete this using file manager with root access?

I don't see any work profile option either in the accounts and sync.
