Feature Request: Save Track View animation data as individual animation files

pwalterscarb opened this issue · comments

Would like to make a suggestion... when working in Track View to save out the data as files instead of embedding the data in a level so animations can be re-used in multiple levels. It seems locked to the level and can't be put into a prefab either. And also be able to use that animation data in Script Canvas (and/or lua) to call, load and play animations. We use it to animate cameras, doors, lamps/ropes swinging from the ceiling, etc. Just wish the animation data was easier to call up when you want to use it. Track View is in dire need of an overhaul but just changing how the data is saved and used would be a huge leap forward.
