- Does tokei already support the language in question?
Looks like Typst isn't available in the latest release of Tokei yet
It is not documented in the README, but it has been implemented already, at least on their default branch.

This was released 4 months ago, Typst support was merged in last month.
Oh yeah, sorry, again, I was looking at their defaupt branch rather that at their releases.
No worries! Unfortunately we can't be on the "bleeding edge" by depending on the default branch or any git refs, as that would prohibit releases to crates.io (also, stability concerns).
I see! Feel free to close this issue as "not planned" then.
Oh, we can still eventually support Typst 🙂
