There is an (seemingly increasing) need for animated visualizations in the R community.

Describe the solution you'd like

httpgd should offer an API to turn a range of plots into an animation video file (video or GIF).

Describe alternatives you've considered

• ImageMagick
• gganimate
• tweenR

Additional context

This should maybe be implemented by interfacing with another (existing) package or by linking with ffmpeg.
