Upgrading from 3.1 to 3.2

Is any doc with howto upgrade to 3.2?
My expirience was not good. Many users cant login anymore; the session expires constantly;I set to view in cards, but shows in list mode;
I may tell you that this software is probably abandoned.
I don't think it's fully abandoned, on master the last change was 9 months ago and in the branch feat/code_refactoring there was activity 3 months ago.
On the other side even small pull requests don't get merged and just sit there.
I'm as well a bit concerned about the future of the application.
We really like it a lot and would like to see that the development continues but it's currently not clear to us how @nuxsmin plans to go forward.
As a side note, we donated 250$ last year and would like to so again this year to support a project we use daily.
However the money currently just sits in the Opencollective account.
