EasyTube doesn't work for videos posted in comments

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Post [youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBzmzhc3S6A] in comments
2. Observe how the tag doesn't turn into a youtube video but stays as an URL

Uhh, tried to contact the author but the plugin doesn't contain an e-mail 
address for
contacting him.  As it happened, the support forums are not answering either (I 
get
Debian default page).

Rant:

It seems that the development model of having the main WordPress very skinny on
features and then extending it through 3rd party plugins easily leads into a
situation in which most of the features are actually not supported or QA'd by 
the
mainline WordPress developers at all.  The plugins easily end up being 
throw-away
code that the original authors are not committed to maintaining or testing for 
future
releases.

We should keep this in mind when choosing to add new plugins to the site.
