The clipping through doors can likely happen in areas other than the Ix prison. This is just an area which I could easily get to.
Although it is clearly a bug, things like this might be used in speed runs. So even if we do fix it, it's probably a good idea to disable the fix for vanilla campaign.
This technique is definitely used in multiple instances to speed run. I personally don't want it fixed myself, but sure I guess. However, I AM a fan of not getting stuck, and lol this is such an instant that I never would have thought of.
