I don't understand the issue with the {docsify-ignore} but I know it is not pretty.
I'd cargo-culted it originally, but I just took a look while preparing to import the chapters from the cleaner source. It's meant to avoid putting some subheaders in the TOC. In practice I don't see the difference, so I'll remove it from the chapter headers.
I think this issue can be closed now.
