Change "master" to "main"

Can we change "master" to "main"? What would break?
Github guidance suggests that it would get automatically fixed on requests, but fixing up the few (a quick search finds 3) hardcoded references to master couldn't hurt.
Wasn't there a nicer rendering page? I think it got removed from the readme a while ago.
