Having some trouble changing the avatar...

Hey there,

I've tried a handful of things but have had no success changing the avatar for my site. Only way I've been able to stably change it is locally, adding my desired image to the themes/hugo-theme-cactus-plus/static/images, and duplicating it, renaming both files as the avatar and avatar retina pngs.

I'm not using twitter integration, also.

So any idea how to reliably change my site's avatar? Any help would be much appreciated.

Ah, nevermind. Of course I stumble upon a solution moments after I finally ask here. I created an [e-mail] and avatar.png file in /static/images. Is this the conventional way of doing this or is it moreso a clumsy workaround?
