NodeBots, Community, and lights: the communal upbringing of a nodebotanist

This talk explores the effects of community on developers: mainly through the eyes of the NodeBots community. We'll explore how community can build up, and sometimes knock down, the aspirations of folks building amazing things.
We can't just be defined by what we do at our "day jobs." No side project is truly isolated, and [edit] being unconstrained by the idea of "business value" can lead to projects that turn into incomparable value in other ways. Community is an important consideration for any programming language or tool, and this talk explores how we could be encouraging, or missing, the next big thing-- through creative retellings of personal and observed stories.

Hey, I hate to be pushy, but will we be hearing about this soon? My work is trying to schedule things and if I'm going to advocate for conference time I'll need to know. Super sorry if this is the wrong place.
We just closed the CFP on the 7th, I'm importing them in to a spreadsheet used for selection but we'll need some time to do the selection.
