Background videos not autoloading on iPhone / Safari on IOS15

After updating to ios15, the background video on my website doesn't autoplay.
I have the same behaviour on iPhone (ios 15) (both with safari and Chrome, as they share the same render engine), and also on Safari 15 on Mac.
I confirm it's ios15/safari 15 related, as I tested a lot of different iPhones and the only ones that didn't work are the ones on IOS15.
Looking in detail: For instance, on iPhone, if I open the website the video doesn't load, but if i flip the phone then it becames visible? and if I flip again in vertical layuot it disapears once again.
I can reproduce this behaviour on safari Mac too, in this case, if I force the screen resize I can see the video appearing.
This topic is also been discussed on the WordPress plugin page, so people are starting to manifest this behaviour as they are updating to ios15

Fixed in the iOs 15.1 Beta 3
