πŸͺ² Description

Describe clearly and concisely what is not working.

πŸ“‹ Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Mist.app
  2. Click on "Installers" tab
  3. Click on "Download and export macos Installer" button for macOS Ventura 13.4.1 (22F82)
  4. Observe error on step create disk image (see screenshot below)

βœ… Expected Behaviour

I expect that disk image automaticly create without errors and I can manually open and use created .dmg file

πŸ’» Environment

  • Mist version (App menu ⇨ About Mist): Version 0.9 (0.9)
  • macOS Version (sw_vers): 12.6.4 build 21G526 Intel (hackintosh on Xeon)

An error has occurred!

Invalid Termination Status: 1

could not access /Volumes/042-01917 1/Install macOS Ventura.app - Operation not permitted

hdiutil: create failed - Operation not permitted

ℹ️ Additional context

I've faced this problem before, but rebooting the computer used to help. Now restarting the computer does not solve this problem

This problem does not appear if I run the application through a binary file with sudo - sudo /Applications/Mist.app/Contents/MacOS/Mist but obviously this is not a friendly solution

I am unable to replicate this issue, however I am on Apple Silicon hardware and do not have access to an Intel-based Mac:

The path /Volumes/042-01917 1/ most likely indicates that there has been a double up of mounted volumes. Can you confirm in Disk Utility all temporary volumes relating to Mist have been unmounted?

FWIW I don't think the fact you are running a Hackintosh is related, but as a last resort it might be worth testing on Apple hardware on either macOS Monterey 12.6.7 or macOS Ventura 13.4.1

@Drovosek01 were you able to replicate and/or are you still having this issue?
