52.1 - import not working

I know sketch just updated styles, so there is a possibility I am doing something incorrect, but I can not get my text styles to import in 52.1.

I have the exact same problem. Exporting works just fine and creates a .json with text styles. It just won't import.

I found a workaround of sorts. Open an old file and they should all be there. Make that a library and you can use them in new docs :)

Same issue here with Sketch version 52.2.

The workaround could work for new designs. However updating all the old designs with the new text styles won't work automatically. One would have to reassign ALL your styles. In my case that is a lot of work for each Sketch file.
@nilshoenson are there plans to update the plugin?

Same here. 52.2. Also couldn't reproduce workaround suggested by @hetvler .

Looks like Sketch changed some APIs with the new version, again. I'll try and fix this soon.
